Beloved Italian Cake Recipe
Ingredients:
- 2 eggs
- 100g sugar
- 8g vanilla sugar
- 100ml sunflower oil
- 100ml milk
- 200g flour
- 12g baking powder
- 28 cm cake mold
- 150g peaches in syrup
- 50g butter
- 50g sugar
- 3 tablespoons flour
Baking:
- Bake at 180°C (356°F) for 40 minutes
Instructions:
- In a mixing bowl, beat 2 eggs with 100g of sugar and 8g of vanilla sugar until well combined.
- Gradually add 100ml of sunflower oil and 100ml of milk, mixing continuously.
- Sift in 200g of flour and 12g of baking powder into the wet mixture. Mix until you have a smooth batter.
- Pour the batter into a greased 28 cm cake mold.
- Cut 150g of peaches in syrup into small pieces and scatter them evenly over the cake batter.
- In a separate bowl, prepare a crumb topping by mixing 50g of butter, 50g of sugar, and 3 tablespoons of flour until it forms coarse crumbs.
- Sprinkle the crumb topping over the peaches on the cake batter.
- Bake the cake in a preheated oven at 180°C (356°F) for approximately 40 minutes, or until the cake is golden brown and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Allow the cake to cool before serving.
