Bites of Churro Stuffed Cheesecake
Ingredients
for the filling of the cheesecake:
- 8 ounces of softened cream cheese
- Half a cup of sugar
- One teaspoon of vanilla cream
- One egg
For the coating of the churro:
- One cup of sugar
- Two teaspoons of cinnamon
- Half a cup of melted unsalted butter
For the Bits:
- One bag of crescent roll or premade pastry dough
Directions
- Preheat Oven: Set the oven’s temperature to 350°F (175°C).
Get the cheesecake filling ready.
- Combine the egg, sugar, vanilla, and cream cheese in a bowl and stir until smooth and creamy. Put aside.
Get the pastry ready:
- After rolling out the pastry dough, cut it into circles or squares that are roughly 3–4 inches across.
Put Together Bites:
- Put a tiny dollop of cheesecake filling in the middle of each piece of pastry.
- Pinch the edges of the dough to create a tight seal after folding it over the filling.
Bake:
- Arrange the filled bites on a baking sheet that has been lined. Bake until golden brown, 15 to 20 minutes.
- Cover with Churro Mix:
- In a bowl, combine the sugar and cinnamon while the bites are baking.
- Before rolling them in the cinnamon-sugar mixture, brush them with melted butter as soon as they are finished.
