Bits of Garlic Bread Ritz
Ingredients
- Two cups of ordinary Ritz Bits crackers, or cheesy garlic-flavored ones with cheese if you prefer
- 1/4 cup melted unsalted butter
- One teaspoon of powdered garlic
- Half a teaspoon of pdry
- Half a teaspoon of dried basilarsley,
- One-fourth teaspoon of salt
- 1/4 cup of optionally grated Parmesan cheese for added flavor
Directions
Warm up the oven:
- Set the oven temperature to 300°F (150°C). Use foil or parchment paper to line a baking sheet.
Get the seasoned butter ready:
- Combine the melted butter, salt, dried parsley, dried basil, and garlic powder in a small bowl. Mix thoroughly.
Cover the crackers:
- The Ritz Bits crackers should be put in a big mixing dish. After adding the seasoned butter, carefully mix the crackers to ensure they are uniformly coated.
- Sprinkle the crackers with Parmesan cheese, if using, and mix one more.
Bake:
- Arrange the coated crackers on the baking sheet in a single layer.
- The crackers should be brown and crisp after about ten minutes of baking in a preheated oven. They can burn rapidly, so take care not to overbake.
Chill and serve:
- After taking the crackers out of the oven, allow them to cool for a few minutes. Warm or room temperature, serve.
