This creamy, zesty Boat Dip (also known as Rotel Ranch Dip) is perfect for parties, game nights, beach days, or anytime you need a quick, irresistible snack. It’s rich, cheesy, slightly spicy, and comes together in just minutes!
Ingredients
1 can (10 oz) Rotel diced tomatoes with green chilies, well drained
1 packet (1 oz) ranch dressing mix
8 oz cream cheese, softened to room temperature
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1 cup sour cream
1/2 cup mayonnaise
1 tablespoon hot sauce (optional, for extra heat)
Tortilla chips, for serving
Instructions
Step 1: Soften the Cream Cheese
Let the cream cheese sit at room temperature for 20–30 minutes so it mixes smoothly without lumps.
Step 2: Mix the Base
In a large mixing bowl, add the softened cream cheese, sour cream, and mayonnaise.
Using a hand mixer (or sturdy whisk), beat until smooth and creamy.
Step 3: Add Flavor
Sprinkle in the ranch dressing mix and stir until fully combined.
