The delicious richness of onions is perfectly complemented by the crisp texture and mild flavor of cabbage, which serves as the ideal canvas for the onion. Because of their combination, they provide a beautiful balance of sweetness and depth, which elevates any meal that they are used in.

Ingredients:

½ medium green cabbage, chopped or sliced

1 large onion, sliced (yellow or red work well)

2 tbsp olive oil (or melted butter for extra richness)

1 tsp garlic powder

½ tsp dried thyme or Italian seasoning

Salt and pepper to taste

1 tsp balsamic vinegar or lemon juice (optional, for brightness)

Grated Parmesan or nutritional yeast (optional, for topping)

Prepare the veggies:

In a large bowl, toss chopped cabbage and sliced onion with olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, thyme, salt, and pepper. Mix well to coat evenly.

Air fry:
