Carnivore Bacon Cheeseburger Pie – a low-carb, high-flavor delight!
Ingredients:
• 1 lb ground beef (80% lean or higher)
• 6 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
• 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
• 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
• 4 large eggs
• ½ cup heavy cream
• Salt and pepper to taste
• ½ tsp garlic powder (optional, if allowing some seasoning)
• ½ tsp onion powder (optional, if allowing some seasoning)
Directions:
Preheat the Oven:
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9-inch pie dish or similar baking dish with cooking spray or butter.
Cook the Beef:
In a skillet over medium-high heat, cook the ground beef until browned and fully cooked, breaking it up into crumbles as it cooks. Drain any excess grease.
Prepare the Bacon:
While the beef is cooking, cook the bacon until crispy. Crumble it into small pieces and set aside.
Prepare the Egg Mixture:
In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, heavy cream, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder (if using).
Assemble the Pie:
In the prepared pie dish, spread the cooked ground beef evenly. Top with the crumbled bacon, shredded cheddar cheese, and shredded mozzarella cheese. Pour the egg mixture over the top, ensuring everything is evenly covered.
Bake:
Place the pie in the preheated oven and bake for 30-35 minutes, or until the eggs are set and the cheese is bubbly and golden.
Serve:
Allow the Carnivore Bacon Cheeseburger Pie to cool for a few minutes before slicing. Serve warm and enjoy this savory, cheesy, low-carb meal!
