Carnivore Breakfast Pizza
Ingredients:
- 2 large eggs
- 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese (or your favorite cheese, if tolerated)
- 2 tablespoons butter or beef tallow
- 2 oz cooked ground beef or sausage (optional for added protein)
- 2-3 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
- 2 tablespoons heavy cream (optional, for extra richness)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Optional toppings: More cheese, cooked ham, or any other carnivore-friendly meat of your choice.
Instructions:
- Prepare the “Crust”:
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a bowl, whisk together 2 eggs and heavy cream (if using) until smooth. Add a pinch of salt and pepper to taste.
- In a skillet, melt 2 tablespoons of butter or beef tallow over medium heat. Once melted, pour in the egg mixture, swirling the pan to spread it evenly. Cook for about 2-3 minutes, just until the edges start to set, but the center is still a little runny.
- Transfer the skillet to the oven and bake for about 5-7 minutes or until the egg “crust” is fully set and slightly golden. This will form your pizza base.
- Add Toppings:
- Once your egg crust is ready, remove it from the oven. Spread a generous layer of shredded mozzarella cheese over the top of the crust. You can also add a little heavy cream to make it extra rich.
- Add your cooked ground beef or sausage for a hearty protein boost, followed by crumbled bacon on top.
- Bake the Pizza:
- Place the pizza back into the oven and bake for another 5-7 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly. If you want extra crispy toppings, leave it in for an additional minute or two.
- Serve:
- Once the pizza is done, remove it from the oven and let it cool slightly before slicing.
- Optionally, sprinkle a bit of extra salt or carnivore-friendly seasoning on top.
- Serve immediately and enjoy your rich, filling, and satisfying Carnivore Breakfast Pizza.
