Catfish in an air fryer
Make this Crispy Air Fryer Fish as soon as possible with your air fryer. Enjoy guilt-free fried fish whenever you want, all covered in a delicious, crispy coating. The whitefish is flakey and perfectly seasoned. Use a lot less oil to achieve that fried taste!
My favourite events to go to are fish fries in the summer. I’m referring to the tasty catfish, whiting, and perch! Sometimes I want to make that delicious fish at home, but I don’t want to deal with the hassle of frying it in oil.
Now, I can create lovely golden fried fish fillets whenever I want without all the grease owing to my air fryer, which I bought on a whim during my pregnancy.
The crust is irresistibly crunchy, the floured and seasoned white fish is incredibly flavorful, and it’s easy to prepare and cook.
Ingredients
- Cut four to six Whiting fish fillets in half.
- From oil to mist
Seasoning Fish
- 1/4 cup of extremely fine cornmeal
- Half a cup of flour
- Two teaspoons of old bay
- One-half teaspoon of salt
- One teaspoon of paprika
- Half a teaspoon of powdered garlic
- Half a teaspoon of black pepper
OR
- Your preferred seasoning for fish
Directions
- Put the fish seasoning ingredients in a Zip lock bag and mix. Put aside. You might also add your preferred fish spice instead.
- Use paper towels to rinse and pat dry your fish fillets. They ought to remain wet.
- Put the fish fillets in a zip lock bag and shake to coat them completely in spice.
- To make it easier to remove any extra flour, place the fillets on a baking rack.
- Place the fillets in the basket of your air fryer after greasing the bottom of the basket. Fillets should be cooked for 7–10 minutes at 400 degrees.
- Before flipping, make sure the fish is completely coated by opening the basket and spraying the side facing up. Cook for 7–8 minutes on the opposite side after flipping. After removing the fish, serve it.
