Cheese Bombs with Garlic Butter

Cheese Bombs with Garlic Butter

Components:

Regarding the dough

  1. One can (16.3 oz) of chilled biscuit dough (e.g., Pillsbury Grands)
  2. One cup of shredded mozzarella cheese, or your preferred cheese combination
  3. Two tablespoons of melted unsalted butter
  4. One teaspoon of garlic powder
  5. One teaspoon dried parsley (for garnish, if desired)

Regarding the sauce made with garlic butter:

  • 1/4 cup melted unsalted butter
  • Three to four minced garlic cloves (or 1 1/2 tsp garlic powder)
  • Half a teaspoon of optional Italian seasoning
  • One tablespoon of freshly chopped parsley (optional)

Directions:

1. Get your oven ready:

  • Set the oven temperature to 375°F, or 190°C. Grease a baking sheet gently or line it with parchment paper.
  • 2. Get the cheese bombs ready:
  • Separate the biscuits after opening the biscuit dough can.
  • Using your hands or a rolling pin, gently flatten each biscuit into a tiny disk.
  • In the middle of each biscuit, place around 1 tablespoon of shredded mozzarella cheese.
  • To seal the dough and create a ball, carefully fold the biscuit’s edges around the cheese and crimp them together.

3. Put the cheese bombs in order and cover them:

  • Leave a small gap between each of the cheese-filled cookie balls as you place them on the baking sheet that has been prepared.
  • Add the garlic powder to two tablespoons of melted butter in a small bowl. Brush each biscuit ball with this garlic butter mixture.

4. Cook:

  • The cheese bombs should be puffed up and golden brown after 15 to 18 minutes of baking in a preheated oven.

5. Prepare the sauce with garlic butter:

  • Melt the remaining 1/4 cup of butter in a microwave or small saucepan while the bombs are baking.
  • Add the fresh parsley (if using), Italian seasoning, and minced garlic. Give the garlic one to two minutes to simmer in the butter until it becomes fragrant.

6. Complete and present:

  • Brush the cheese bombs with the prepared garlic butter sauce as soon as they come out of the oven. You can dip the bombs in the sauce or drizzle it over them.
  • Optional: For a little taste and color, scatter some additional parsley on top.
  • Enjoy these cheesy, buttery, garlicky morsels warm from the oven!
