Cheeseburger Burrito Wrap
Components:
- One pound of ground beef
- One tablespoon of olive oil, or the cooking oil of your choice
- One little onion, diced finely
- One minced garlic clove
- One teaspoon of paprika
- One teaspoon of powdered onion
- One teaspoon of optional mustard powder
- To taste, add salt and pepper.
- Four big tortillas made with flour
- One cup of shredded cheddar cheese, or any other cheese of your choosing
- 1/4 cup of ketchup
- Two teaspoons of mustard
- 1/4 cup sliced dill pickles
- 1/4 cup of optionally shredded lettuce
- Slices of tomato (optional)
Directions:
- Prepare the ground beef by heating a skillet’s olive oil over medium heat. Sauté the minced garlic and chopped onion for two to three minutes, or until they are tender. Using a spatula, break up the ground beef as you add it to the pan. Cook for 5 to 7 minutes, or until browned. If needed, drain extra fat.
- Season the Beef with salt, pepper, mustard powder (if using), onion powder, and paprika. Mix to blend. To let the flavors combine, cook for one more minute. Take off the heat.
- Get the tortillas ready: You may either microwave the flour tortillas for about 20 seconds until they are soft or heat them in a dry skillet for 20 to 30 seconds on each side.
- Put the burrito together: After flattening each tortilla, begin layering in the middle:
- A liberal portion of the seasoned meat mixture should be spooned.
- Sprinkle some shredded cheddar cheese on top.
- Pour some mustard and ketchup over it.
- Slices of pickles should be added.
- Add tomato slices and shredded lettuce on top if you’d like for added crunch and taste.
- Carefully fold the tortilla’s sides in, then roll it up from the bottom, tucking the edges in as you go, to create a tight wrap for the burrito.
- Serve: For a real “burger experience,” cut the burrito in half and serve it right away with extra ketchup, mustard, or maybe some fries on the side.
- Savor your burrito wrap with cheeseburgers!
