Cheesecake with Triple Chocolate
Components:
Regarding the Crust:
Twenty Oreo cookies
Five teaspoons of melted butter
For filling the cheesecake:
⅓ cup of cocoa powder without sugar
Half a cup of powdered sugar
24 ounces of room-temperature cream cheese
Eight ounces of melted semi-sweet or bittersweet chocolate
Half a cup of heavy cream
One teaspoon of vanilla extract
Four big eggs
One cup of sour cream
Regarding the Ganache:
Half a cup of milk chocolate chips
Half a cup of heavy cream
Regarding the Whipped Chocolate Cream:
One cup and two tablespoons of heavy cream, separated by half a cup of milk chocolate chips
Chocolate curls (for garnish, if desired)
Directions:
Get the crust ready:
Set the oven temperature to 175°C (350°F).
In a food processor, pulse the Oreo cookies until they are finely ground.
Add the melted butter and stir until fully incorporated.
Fill a springform pan with the mixture by pressing it into the bottom.
After 10 minutes of baking, allow to cool.
Prepare the filling for the cheesecake:
Put the granulated sugar and cocoa powder in a big bowl. Beat in the cream cheese until it’s smooth.
Add the heavy cream and melted chocolate and stir until combined.
Beat in the eggs one at a time after adding the vanilla essence.
Add the sour cream and stir until smooth.
Make the cheesecake:
Place the springform pan in a large roasting pan after wrapping the bottom with aluminum foil.
Fill the roasting pan halfway up the edges of the springform pan with boiling water.
Bake until the middle is set but still has some give, about 60 to 70 minutes.
After turning off the oven, leave the door slightly open for an hour so the cheesecake may cool inside. After that, chill for at least four hours or overnight.
Make the Ganache:
Put the heavy cream and milk chocolate chips in a bowl that is suitable to use in the microwave.
Stir in the microwave for 30 seconds at a time until smooth.
After the cheesecake has cooled, cover it with the ganache and chill it until it solidifies.
Apply Whipped Cream last:
Heat 2 tablespoons of heavy cream in a small saucepan until it simmers.
After adding the milk chocolate chips, mix until they are smooth and melted. Allow to cool.
Beat the remaining 1 cup of heavy cream in a large bowl until soft peaks form.
Add the chilled chocolate mixture gradually while continuing to beat until stiff peaks form.
Over the cheesecake, spread or pipe the chocolate whipped cream.
Add a garnish:
For a lovely touch, sprinkle chocolate curls on top (optional).
