1 tsp black pepper

1 tsp salt (adjust to taste)

1 tbsp soy sauce or Worcestershire sauce

¼ cup beef broth or water (optional, for juiciness)

For the Cheesy Biscuits

2 cups all-purpose flour

2 tsp baking powder

½ tsp baking soda

½ tsp salt

4 tbsp cold butter, cubed

1 cup cold buttermilk (or milk + 1 tsp vinegar)

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (for inside & topping)

 Instructions

Make the Beef Filling

Heat a pan over medium heat and add oil/butter.

Add onion and sauté until soft (optional).

Add ground beef and cook until browned.

Mix in garlic powder, paprika, black pepper, salt, and soy sauce.

Add a splash of beef broth or water for juiciness and let it simmer for 3–4 minutes.

Once thick and juicy, turn off heat and let it cool.

Make the Biscuits

Preheat oven to 220°C (425°F).

In a large bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.

Add cold butter pieces and use fingers or a fork to crumble into the flour until sandy.

Add buttermilk and mix gently until a soft dough forms (don’t overmix!).

Roll dough about ½ inch thick.

Cut out small circles using a cup or biscuit cutter — around 20–24 pieces.

Place half the biscuits on a tray.

Assemble the Sliders

Add a spoonful of beef mixture onto each bottom biscuit.

Add a pinch of cheddar cheese on top of the beef.

Place another biscuit round on top like a sandwich.

Press gently so they stick together.

Brush tops lightly with milk or butter.

Sprinkle extra cheese on top.

Bake

Bake in a preheated oven (220°C / 425°F) for 12–15 minutes
or until the biscuits are golden and cheese is bubbly like the picture.

Tips for Best Results

Use cold butter and cold buttermilk for fluffy biscuits.

Do not overmix the dough — it should stay soft.

You can add jalapenos, chili flakes, or herbs for extra flavor.

For extra cheesiness, add 1 cheese slice on top of the beef before placing the top biscuit.

These freeze well! Reheat in the oven or air fryer.

Variations

Chicken Version: Use minced chicken with same seasoning.
