Total Time: 25–30 minutes
Ingredients (Serves 3–4)
Main Ingredients:
9 oz (250g) refrigerated cheese tortellini (pre-cooked or boil for 3–4 minutes)
1 tbsp olive oil or butter
1/2 lb thin-sliced beef steak (ribeye, sirloin, or shaved beef)
1/2 cup sliced green bell pepper
1/2 cup sliced onions
1/4 tsp garlic powder
Salt and black pepper, to taste
1/3 cup heavy cream (or half and half)
1/3 cup shredded mozzarella
1/3 cup shredded provolone or white cheddar
Optional Toppings:
Crushed red pepper flakes
Sautéed mushrooms
Chopped parsley
Instructions:
Sear the Steak & Veggies
In a skillet or pan, heat olive oil over medium-high.
Add steak slices, season with garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Cook until browned (3–4 minutes).
Add bell peppers and onions; sauté until tender (another 3–4 minutes).
Set aside. If using pre-cooked tortellini, boil them briefly now or use pre-boiled.
Combine in Air Fryer-Safe Skillet
In an air fryer-safe baking dish or metal skillet, combine:
Cooked tortellini
Cooked steak, peppers, and onions
Heavy cream
Half of the shredded cheeses
Mix everything gently until coated.
Top with the remaining cheese.
Air Fry
Preheat air fryer to 360°F (182°C) for 2–3 minutes.
Place the skillet in the air fryer basket.
Air fry for 10–12 minutes, or until the cheese is fully melted and golden, and everything is bubbling hot.
Tip: If using thicker cream or a deeper dish, check at the 10-minute mark and air fry up to 14 minutes if needed.
Serve Hot With:
Toasted garlic bread
Side salad with balsamic vinaigrette
Optional hot sauce drizzle
Tips & Variations:
Substitute beef with sliced rotisserie chicken or mushrooms for a lighter version.
Add a spoon of cream cheese for a silkier sauce.
Use frozen tortellini if needed—just boil before adding to the skillet.
