Ingredients
1 cup canned chickpeas, drained, rinsed, and patted dry
¾ cup pitted dates (softened in warm water if needed)
¼ cup almond butter (or peanut butter)
2 tbsp honey (or maple syrup for vegan option)
1 tsp vanilla extract
½ tsp cinnamon
1 scoop vanilla protein powder (or ¼ cup oat flour for a whole-food option)
¼ cup finely chopped nuts (almonds, walnuts, or pecans, optional)
2 tbsp dark chocolate chips (optional)
Instructions
Blend the Base
In a food processor, blend the chickpeas and dates until a sticky paste forms.
Add almond butter, honey, vanilla, cinnamon, and protein powder, blending until smooth.
Mix & Shape
