Chicken Bites with Garlic Butter and Creamy Parmesan Pasta
Ingredients
Regarding the chicken:
- One pound of skinless, boneless, and bite-sized chicken breasts
- Four tablespoons of butter without salt
- Four minced garlic cloves
- To taste, add salt and pepper.
- One teaspoon of optional Italian seasoning
- Chopped fresh parsley (for garnish)
Regarding the Pasta with Creamy Parmesan:
- Eight ounces of pasta (penne, fettuccine, or any other type you want)
- One tablespoon of olive oil
- One cup of heavy cream
- One cup of Parmesan cheese, grated
- To taste, add salt and pepper.
- One teaspoon of optional garlic powder
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley (for garnish)
Directions
Prepare the pasta:
- Bring salted water to a boil in a big pot. Pasta should be cooked as directed on the package until it is al dente. After draining, set away.
Get the chicken ready:
- Melt two tablespoons of butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Season with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning after adding the chicken pieces. Cook, tossing occasionally, until the chicken is golden brown and cooked through, about 5 to 7 minutes.
Include the garlic:
- Cook the minced garlic in the skillet for one to two more minutes, or until it becomes aromatic. After taking the chicken out of the skillet, place it aside.
Prepare the Parmesan Cream Sauce:
- Add the remaining 2 tablespoons of butter and olive oil to the same skillet.
- Bring to a slow simmer after adding the heavy cream. Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth. If using, add garlic powder and season with salt and pepper to taste.
Mix the pasta with the sauce:
- Add the cooked pasta to the creamy sauce and toss to coat evenly. If the sauce is too thick, you can add a little pasta water to reach your desired consistency.
Mix pasta and chicken:
- Add the cooked chicken back into the skillet with the pasta. Toss everything together until well mixed.
