Recipe for Chicken Breasts for the Air Fryer
Components
- Two teaspoons of brown sugar and one teaspoon of paprika together
- Oregano, dried, one teaspoon’s worth
- One-half teaspoon of garlic powder
- One-fourth of a teaspoon of onion powder
- One-fourth of a teaspoon of salt
- One-third of a teaspoon of black pepper
- Two chicken breasts that are boneless and skinless
- Olive oil, one teaspoon’s worth
Details to follow
- A small bowl should be used to combine the following ingredients: brown sugar, paprika, dried oregano, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Stir or whisk the ingredients together until they are thoroughly blended.
- A paper towel should be used to pat the chicken dry. It is recommended to place chicken breasts in a bag with a zip-top or between two layers of parchment paper. Then, using a meat mallet or rolling pin, pound the chicken breasts until they reach an equal thickness.
- To prepare the chicken breasts, rub the olive oil on all sides of the product. Apply the spice mixture to both sides of the chicken, and then set it aside.
- Position the chicken in the air fryer so that it is in a single layer. After cooking the chicken for eight minutes at a temperature of 400 degrees Fahrenheit, turn it over and continue cooking it for another five to twelve minutes, or until the deepest section of the breast reaches an internal temperature of 165 degrees Fahrenheit. (The amount of time required to cook the chicken breasts will be determined on their size.)
- It is recommended that you wait five minutes before slicing and serving the chicken.
Remarks
- When you want the rub to have a little amount of heat, add a half teaspoon of chili powder.
