Ingredients
4 tbsp all-purpose flour
1 tbsp sugar
½ tsp baking powder
3 tbsp milk
1 tbsp melted butter (or oil)
½ tsp vanilla extract
1 tbsp brown sugar
½ tsp ground cinnamon
For Glaze (optional):
2 tbsp powdered sugar
½ tsp milk
Instructions
In a small bowl, mix flour, sugar, baking powder, milk, melted butter, and vanilla until smooth.
In a separate small dish, combine brown sugar and cinnamon.
Pour half the batter into a microwave-safe mug, sprinkle half the cinnamon sugar, then add the remaining batter and top with the rest of the cinnamon sugar.
Microwave on high for 1 to 1½ minutes, until the cake rises and sets (do not overcook).
Mix powdered sugar and milk to make a quick glaze, drizzle on top.
