Cinnamon-Sugar Air Fryer Banana Chips
Introduction
These Cinnamon-Sugar Air Fryer Banana Chips are a crispy, naturally sweet, and healthy snack. They’re a great alternative to store-bought chips, with no preservatives or artificial ingredients. Made with just a few pantry staples, these banana chips are perfect for snacking, topping yogurt, or adding to granola. The air fryer makes them quick, crispy, and delicious without deep-frying!
Ingredients
2 ripe but firm bananas (not overly soft)
1 tbsp lemon juice (prevents browning)
1 tbsp coconut oil or melted butter
2 tbsp brown sugar or coconut sugar
1 tsp ground cinnamon
½ tsp vanilla extract (optional)
A pinch of salt
Instructions
Prepare the Bananas
Peel the bananas and slice them into ¼-inch thick even rounds.
Place them in a bowl and gently toss with lemon juice to prevent browning.
Coat with Cinnamon-Sugar
In a small bowl, mix coconut oil (or melted butter), brown sugar, cinnamon, vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt.
Gently coat the banana slices in this mixture.
Air Fry the Banana Chips
Preheat the air fryer to 300°F (150°C) for 3 minutes.
Arrange the banana slices in a single layer in the air fryer basket (avoid overlapping).
Air fry for 12-15 minutes, flipping halfway through.
Check for crispiness—if they’re not fully crisp, air fry for an additional 2-3 minutes in 2-minute intervals.
Cool and Serve
Remove the banana chips from the air fryer and let them cool on a wire rack for 5-10 minutes (they will crisp up more as they cool).
Enjoy immediately or store in an airtight container for up to 5 days.

Don’t overcrowd – Leave space between slices for better air circulation.
Storage – If they soften after storage, reheat in the air fryer at 300°F for 2-3 minutes.
