 Ingredients

For the Biscuit Bites:

1 can refrigerated biscuit dough (like Pillsbury Grands or Homestyle)

4 tbsp unsalted butter (melted)

For the Cinnamon Sugar Coating:

1/2 cup granulated sugar

1 tbsp ground cinnamon

Pinch of salt (optional, enhances flavor)

 Equipment Needed

Baking sheet or air fryer

Mixing bowls

Pastry brush (optional but helpful)

Tongs or fork

Cooling rack or paper towels

 Directions

Step 1: Preheat & Prep

Oven: Preheat to 350°F (175°C).

Air Fryer: Preheat to 330°F (165°C) if your air fryer requires preheating.

Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.

Step 2: Cut the Dough

Open the biscuit can and separate the biscuits.

Cut each biscuit into 4 or 6 equal pieces, depending on the size you want.

Tip: Use kitchen scissors or a sharp knife dipped in flour to prevent sticking.

Step 3: Arrange and Bake

Place the pieces evenly on your baking sheet or air fryer basket, leaving a bit of space between them.

Bake for 10–12 minutes (oven) or 6–8 minutes (air fryer) until golden brown and puffed.

Tip: Don’t overbake or they’ll dry out. They’re done when they’re puffed and slightly golden on the bottom.

Step 4: Make Cinnamon Sugar

While they’re baking, mix the sugar, cinnamon, and pinch of salt in a small bowl.

Melt the butter in a separate bowl.

Step 5: Coat the Bites

Once baked, let biscuit bites cool for 1–2 minutes (but not completely).

Dip each bite quickly in melted butter (use tongs or a fork), then roll in the cinnamon sugar until fully coated.

Set on a cooling rack or parchment-lined tray to finish setting.

 Tips & Tricks for Success

 Dough Choice:

Use flaky biscuits for a layered texture.

Avoid sweet biscuits; plain or buttermilk-style works best.

 Coating Tip:

Don’t let the bites cool completely before buttering or the cinnamon sugar won’t stick well.

If sugar isn’t sticking, give each bite a second butter dip or brush with more butter.

Make Ahead:

You can bake the bites, let them cool, and coat them just before serving to keep them fresh.

Store uncoated bites in an airtight container for up to 1 day.

 Extra Crunch:

For a crunchy outside, brush the dough lightly with butter before baking.

 Variations:

Add-ins: Sprinkle with crushed nuts or mini chocolate chips.

Drizzle: Top with a simple glaze (powdered sugar + milk).

Stuffed version: Wrap a small piece of chocolate or Nutella inside the biscuit before baking.

Storage

Store leftovers in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 2 days.

Reheat in air fryer or oven for 2–3 minutes to revive crispness.
