Ingredients

      • 150g sugar

      • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
      • Lemon zest from one lemon
      • Juice of one lemon

    • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Directions

Prepare the Pie Crust:

    1. Combine Dry Ingredients:
        • In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, sugar, salt, and baking powder.

    2. Mix Wet Ingredients:
      • Mix in the melted butter and eggs until a dough forms.

    • Gradually add the milk, adjusting the consistency to smooth and pliable.
  2. Chill the Dough:
      • Divide the dough into two, wrap in plastic wrap, and chill in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.

Prepare the Apple Filling:

      • Peel, core, and slice the apples thinly.

    • In a large bowl, toss the apple slices with sugar, cinnamon, lemon zest, lemon juice, and vanilla extract.

Assemble the Pie:

      • Roll out one portion of the chilled dough and fit it into a pie dish to form the bottom crust.
