Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 small onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 (15 oz) can diced tomatoes
- 1 (15 oz) can kidney beans, drained and rinsed
- 1 (6 oz) can tomato paste
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1 tbsp chili powder
- 1 tsp cumin
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp oregano
- ½ tsp cayenne pepper (optional)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 cup shredded Feta/cheddar cheese (for garnish)
- ½ cup sour cream (for garnish)
- Chopped green onions (for garnish)
Directions
Step 1: Cook the Beef
In a large pot, brown the ground beef over medium heat until fully cooked. Drain any excess fat.
Step 2: Sauté Aromatics
Add diced onions and garlic to the beef. Sauté for 3-4 minutes until fragrant and softened.
Step 3: Combine Ingredients
Stir in diced tomatoes, tomato paste, kidney beans, and beef broth. Mix well.
Step 4: Season the Chili
