Classic Beef Chili

Indulge in a rich and satisfying Classic Beef Chili, packed with tender beef, flavorful tomatoes, and a blend of aromatic spices. This beloved, one-pot wonder is perfect for a chilly evening, a special occasion, or a cozy night in.
Ingredients 
  1. 1 lb ground beef
  2. 1 small onion, diced
  3. 2 cloves garlic, minced
  4. 1 (15 oz) can diced tomatoes
  5. 1 (15 oz) can kidney beans, drained and rinsed
  6. 1 (6 oz) can tomato paste
  7. 1 cup beef broth
  8. 1 tbsp chili powder
  9. 1 tsp cumin
  10. 1 tsp paprika
  11. 1 tsp oregano
  12. ½ tsp cayenne pepper (optional)
  13. Salt and pepper to taste
  14. 1 cup shredded Feta/cheddar cheese (for garnish)
  15. ½ cup sour cream (for garnish)
  16. Chopped green onions (for garnish)
Directions 
Step 1: Cook the Beef
In a large pot, brown the ground beef over medium heat until fully cooked. Drain any excess fat.
Step 2: Sauté Aromatics
Add diced onions and garlic to the beef. Sauté for 3-4 minutes until fragrant and softened.
Step 3: Combine Ingredients
Stir in diced tomatoes, tomato paste, kidney beans, and beef broth. Mix well.
Step 4: Season the Chili
Add chili powder, cumin, paprika, oregano, cayenne pepper, salt, and pepper. Stir everything together.
Step 5: Simmer to Perfection
Lower the heat and let the chili simmer for 25-30 minutes, stirring occasionally to thicken and meld the flavors.
Step 6: Serve & Garnish
Spoon chili into bowls and top with shredded cheddar/Feta  cheese, a dollop of sour cream, and a sprinkle of green onions. Serve warm with cornbread or tortilla chips on the side!
