  12. One tablespoon of olive oil
  13. Finely chopped fresh cilantro (for garnish)

Guidelines

Prepare the Ground Beef:

  • Heat the olive oil in a big skillet over medium heat. Using a spoon, break up the ground beef while it cooks until it turns brown. If necessary, drain any surplus fat.

Sauté the garlic and onion:

  • Cook the chopped onion in the skillet for three to four minutes, or until it becomes tender. Once fragrant, heat for an additional one to two minutes after adding the minced garlic.

Include seasonings:

  • Add the oregano, paprika, cumin, chili powder, salt, and pepper and stir. Allow the spices to bloom and unleash their flavors by cooking them for one to two minutes.

Add the liquid and pasta.

  • Toss the pasta shells in the beef mixture after adding them to the skillet and stirring. After adding the beef broth and tomato sauce, boil the mixture.

Prepare the pasta:

  • Once the pasta is soft and has absorbed the majority of the liquid, cover the skillet and simmer for 12 to 15 minutes. To keep from sticking, stir from time to time.
