Cool Whip Cookies

Making Cool Whip Cookies simply requires a few ingredients and is quite simple. They are ideal for a quick dessert or a fun treat to share because they are soft, chewy, and have a mild, sweet flavor. Make these tasty cookies with this easy recipe!

Components:

  1. One box of cake mix (of any flavor, such chocolate, vanilla, or red velvet)
  2. One 8-ounce package of thawed Cool Whip
  3. One egg
  4. Half a cup of sugar powder (for rolling)
  5. Not required To personalize your cookies, add-ins:
  6. Half a cup of chocolate chips
  7. Half a cup of sprinkles
  8. Half a cup of crushed nuts, such as pecans or walnuts
  9. Half a teaspoon of vanilla extract

Directions:

  • Set the oven’s temperature to 350°F (175°C). For easier cleanup, line a baking sheet with silicone baking mats or parchment paper.
  • Mix the dough: Put the cake mix, egg, and Cool Whip in a big basin. Mix thoroughly. It’s typical for the dough to be thick and sticky.
  • To form the cookies, scoop out amounts of dough (approximately 1 tablespoon each) using a spoon or cookie scoop. Using your hands, roll each bit into a ball.
  • Coat in powdered sugar: Give each ball of dough a thorough coating by rolling it in powdered sugar.
  • After baking, this gives the cookies a lovely crackly look.
  • Transfer to a baking sheet: Place the dough balls, about 2 inches apart, on the baking sheet that has been prepared.
  • Bake the cookies for 9 to 11 minutes, or until the tops have cracked and the edges are firm. The middle of the cookies will be soft, but as they cool, they will solidify.
  • To serve, let the cookies cool on the baking sheet for two to three minutes, then move them to a wire rack to finish cooling.
