Ingredients

2 cups all-purpose flour

1 tbsp baking powder

½ tsp baking soda

1 tsp salt

½ cup cold unsalted butter (cut into cubes)

¾ cup buttermilk (cold)

1 tbsp honey (optional, for slight sweetness)

2 tbsp melted butter (for brushing)

Instructions

 Mix the Dough

In a bowl, whisk flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.

Cut in cold butter using a pastry cutter or fork until the mixture looks crumbly.

Slowly stir in cold buttermilk and honey (if using) until just combined. Do not overmix!

 Shape the Biscuits

Transfer dough to a floured surface and gently pat (not roll) into a ½-inch thickness.

Cut out biscuits using a round cutter or a glass.

Air Fry the Biscuits

Preheat air fryer to 350°F (175°C) for 3-5 minutes.

Place biscuits in the air fryer basket, ensuring they don’t touch.

Air fry for 8-10 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden brown.

Brush & Serve

Brush hot biscuits with melted butter.

Serve warm with jam, honey, or sausage gravy!
