Creamy Cajun Chicken Pasta Recipe

Ingredients:
- 16 oz. penne pasta
- 2 chicken breasts
- 1 tbsp. Cajun seasoning
- 1 tsp. onion powder
- 1 tsp. garlic powder
- 1 tsp. dry parsley
- 1/2 tsp. paprika
- 1/2 tsp. Old Bay seasoning
- 1 tbsp. oil
- 1 tbsp. unsalted butter
- 1 small onion
- 1/2 medium-sized bell pepper
- 4 oz. diced tomatoes
- 2 cups heavy cream
- 1 tsp. minced garlic
- 4 oz. cream cheese
- 1 tsp. chicken bouillon
- 1 tsp. Cajun seasoning
- 1/2 cup parmesan cheese
Instructions:
- Cook the penne pasta according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- Season the chicken breasts with Cajun seasoning, onion powder, garlic powder, dry parsley, paprika, and Old Bay seasoning.
- Heat oil and butter in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add the seasoned chicken breasts and cook until they are browned and fully cooked, about 4-5 minutes per side. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set it aside.
- In the same skillet, add diced onion and bell pepper. Sauté until they become tender.
- Stir in diced tomatoes and minced garlic. Cook for an additional 1-2 minutes.
- Pour in the heavy cream and bring it to a simmer. Add cream cheese and chicken bouillon. Stir until the cream cheese is fully melted and the sauce becomes creamy.
- Season the sauce with Cajun seasoning to taste.
- Slice the cooked chicken into thin strips and add it back to the skillet.
- Finally, stir in the cooked penne pasta and parmesan cheese. Toss everything together until well combined and heated through.
