½ teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon black pepper
½ teaspoon garlic powder
½ teaspoon Italian seasoning
2 tablespoons olive oil
2 tablespoons unsalted butter
For the Creamy Garlic Parmesan Sauce:

¾ cup grated Parmesan cheese
½ teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional, for a little heat)

Prepare and Cook the Chicken
Season the chicken – Sprinkle salt, pepper, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning evenly over the chicken cutlets.
Sear the chicken – Heat olive oil and butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
Cook the chicken – Sear for 4-5 minutes per side, or until golden brown and cooked through (internal temperature of 165°F/75°C). Remove and set aside.
Make the Creamy Garlic Parmesan Sauce
Sauté garlic – In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.
Add liquids – Pour in chicken broth and deglaze the pan, scraping up any browned bits.
Simmer and thicken – Lower the heat, add heavy cream and Parmesan cheese, stirring until the sauce thickens (about 3-4 minutes).
Season – Add red pepper flakes and Italian seasoning for extra flavor.
Combine and Serve
Return the chicken to the pan, spooning the sauce over it. Let it simmer for 2-3 minutes.
Garnish with fresh parsley and serve hot with pasta, mashed potatoes, or steamed veggies.
