CRIPSY FRIES
Parts and pieces:
- The russet potatoes, six in size
- Olive oil, two tablespoons’ worth
- The powdered garlic, one teaspoon
- 1.5 milligrams of paprika
- Add salt to taste.
- Not required: black pepper that has been freshly ground, and chopped parsley for seasoning
Details to follow:
- Preheat your oven to 425 degrees Fahrenheit (220 degrees Celsius).
- Remove the skins and wash the potatoes. Make sure to cut them into sticks or wedges of equal size.
- After placing the potato sticks in a big dish filled with cold water, let them to soak for around half an hour. This helps remove extra starch, which ultimately results in fries that are crispier.
- Paper towels should be used to properly dry the potatoes once they have been drained.
Put the dry potato sticks in a bowl and add the olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, and salt. - Toss the mixture until the potato sticks are uniformly coated.
- Place the potato sticks in a single layer on a baking sheet that has been lined with parchment paper, making sure that they are not squeezed together too tightly.
- Bake the fries in an oven that has been prepared for twenty-five to thirty minutes, turning them over on the halfway point, until they are golden brown and crispy.
- After it has finished cooking, take it out of the oven and, if you like, season it with some additional salt and pepper. In order to add a bit of freshness, garnish with chopped parsley.
- Enjoy the addictive crunch of homemade crispy fries when they are still hot if you serve them.
