Crispy Cabbage Fritters
Ingredients
• 2 cups finely shredded cabbage
• 2 eggs
• 3–4 tbsp all-purpose flour
• 2 tbsp grated cheese (optional but tasty)
• 2 cloves garlic, minced
• 2 tbsp chopped green onions or parsley
• ½ tsp salt
• ½ tsp black pepper
• ½ tsp paprika (optional)
• Oil for frying
Sauce (Dip)
• ½ cup plain yogurt or sour cream
• 1 clove garlic, minced
• 1 tbsp fresh dill or parsley
• Pinch of salt & paprika
Instructions
1. Prepare the cabbage
• Finely shred the cabbage.
• Sprinkle a little salt and squeeze lightly to soften it.
2. Make the batter
• In a bowl mix cabbage, eggs, flour, garlic, cheese, green onions, salt, pepper, and paprika.
• Stir until everything is well combined.
3. Fry the fritters
• Heat a little oil in a pan over medium heat.
• Scoop a spoonful of mixture and flatten slightly like a pancake.
• Fry 3–4 minutes per side until golden brown and crispy.
4. Make the dip
• Mix yogurt, garlic, dill, salt, and paprika.
5. Serve
• Serve hot cabbage fritters with the creamy dip in the center.
