Ingredients
1 medium head of cauliflower, cut into florets
2 tbsp olive oil
1 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp smoked paprika (or regular paprika)
1/2 tsp ground cumin
1/2 tsp salt (adjust to taste)
1/4 tsp black pepper
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
1 tbsp lemon juice (for finishing touch)
Instructions
Preheat the Oven:
Set your oven to 425°F (220°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper for easy cleanup.
Prepare the Cauliflower:
Cut the cauliflower into bite-sized florets.
Season the Florets:
In a large bowl, toss the cauliflower with olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, cumin, salt, and black pepper. If using Parmesan, add it now for extra crispiness.
Spread on a Baking Sheet:
Arrange the cauliflower in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet. Avoid overcrowding to ensure even crisping.
Roast:
Bake for 25-30 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden brown and crispy.
Garnish & Serve:
Sprinkle with fresh parsley and a squeeze of lemon juice before serving.
Tips for Crispy Perfection
Use High Heat:
Roasting at 425°F ensures crisp edges.
Don’t Overcrowd the Pan:
Spread out the florets for even roasting.
For Extra Crunch:
Add a light dusting of panko breadcrumbs before roasting.
Air Fryer Method:
Cook at 400°F for 15-18 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through.
