Crockpot Chicken & Gravy

Parts and pieces:

  1. chicken breasts (or thighs) that are boneless and skinless (4 total)
  2. 1 package of ranch spice mix (or ranch seasoning that you have prepared yourself)
  3. Mixture of onion soup, one packet
  4. 1 can (equivalent to 10.50 ounces) White chicken soup with cream
  5. a half cup of water or chicken broth by volume
  6. quarter cup of butter, unsalted, melted –
  7. To taste, including salt and pepper
  8. Not required: To garnish, fresh parsley is used.

Prepare the chicken as the first step.

  • A slow cooker should have the chicken breasts (or thighs) placed in the bottom of the slow cooker.
  • The chicken should be seasoned with a small bit of salt and pepper.

Make the gravy mixture as the second step.

  • Combine the ranch seasoning mix, onion soup mix, cream of chicken soup, chicken broth, and melted butter in a separate bowl and whisk them together until they are thoroughly combined.
  • Place the chicken in the slow cooker and pour the gravy mixture over it in an equal layer.

Step 3: Cook on a Low Temperature

  • To ensure that the chicken is cooked through and tender, cover the slow cooker and cook it on low for 6-7 hours or on high for 3-4 hours according to your preference. 165 degrees Fahrenheit (74 degrees Celsius) should be reached on the inside of the chicken.

4. Shred the meat and serve it.

  • The chicken should be shredded using two forks immediately in the slow cooker after it has been cooked, and the chicken should be stirred into the gravy.
    After tasting the gravy, make any necessary adjustments to the seasoning by adding additional salt or pepper.

5. Serve the food
