Dark chocolate bark with nuts and dried fruit recipe 🍫✨
Ingredients:
– 12 oz (340g) high-quality dark chocolate
– 1/4 cup pistachios, roughly chopped
– 1/4 cup almonds, roughly chopped
– 2 tbsp dried cranberries
– 2 tbsp dried apricots, chopped
– 1 tbsp sea salt flakes
– Optional: shredded coconut or other dried fruits
Instructions:
1. melt the chocolate:
– Break the dark chocolate into pieces and melt it in a heatproof bowl over a pot of simmering water. Stir occasionally until smooth.
2. spread the chocolate:
– Pour the melted chocolate onto a parchment-lined baking sheet. Spread it evenly into a thin layer using a spatula.
3. add toppings:
– While the chocolate is still melted, sprinkle the chopped pistachios, almonds, dried cranberries, apricots, and sea salt flakes evenly over the top.
4. set the chocolate:
– Allow the chocolate to cool and harden at room temperature or place it in the fridge for 30 minutes to set completely.
5. break into pieces:
– Once set, break the bark into irregular pieces and enjoy!
