Date and Peanut Sesame Rolls

Date and Peanut Sesame Rolls

Ingredients:

    • Peanuts: 100g
    • Dates: 300g, pitted
    • Sesame Seeds: 30g, toasted
    • White Chocolate: 90g, melted
  • Dark Chocolate: 15g, melted

Directions:

    1. Prepare the Base:
      • Grind 100g of peanuts and 300g of dates into a smooth, homogeneous mass using a food processor.
    1. Mix the Sesame:
      • Toast 30g of sesame seeds until fragrant. Take 1/3 of the toasted sesame seeds and mix them into the date and peanut mixture.
    2. Form the Roll:
        • Shape the mixture into a long sausage and roll it well in the remaining sesame seeds.

    3. Make an Indentation:
      • Using your fingers, create an indentation along the length of the sausage to give it shape, then seal the sides at the ends.
  1. Melt the Chocolate:
    • Melt 90g of white chocolate and 15g of dark chocolate separately. First, drizzle the white chocolate along the indentation, followed by the dark chocolate to create a decorative pattern.
  2. Chill and Serve:
      • Refrigerate the roll for several hours until firm. Once set, cut into bite-sized portions and enjoy with tea or coffee.
