These golden, crispy fritters are loaded with juicy peaches and fried to perfection. The sweet glaze takes them over the top for a bakery-style treat you can make right at home—perfect for breakfast, brunch, or dessert!

Ingredients:

For the fritters:

1 cup all-purpose flour

1/4 cup granulated sugar

1 1/2 tsp baking powder

1/2 tsp ground cinnamon

1/4 tsp salt

1/3 cup whole milk

1 large egg

1 tsp vanilla extract

1 tbsp melted butter

1 to 1 1/2 cups fresh peaches, peeled and diced (about 2 medium peaches)

Vegetable oil, for frying

For the glaze:

1 cup powdered sugar

1–2 tbsp milk (adjust for consistency)

1/2 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions:

1. Make the Batter:

In a mixing bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt.

In another bowl, whisk milk, egg, vanilla, and melted butter until combined.

Pour the wet ingredients into the dry and stir until just combined.

Fold in the diced peaches gently. The batter should be thick but scoopable.

2. Fry the Fritters:

Heat about 2 inches of oil in a deep skillet or pot to 350°F (175°C).

Carefully drop heaping spoonfuls of batter into the oil (don’t overcrowd the pan).

Fry for 2–3 minutes per side, or until golden brown and cooked through.

Remove with a slotted spoon and drain on a paper towel-lined plate.

3. Make the Glaze:

In a small bowl, whisk together powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla until smooth.

Drizzle over warm fritters or dip them in for a glazed coating.

Serving Tips:

Best served warm with a cup of coffee or tea.

Try them dusted with powdered sugar if you prefer no glaze.

Store leftovers (if any!) in an airtight container and reheat in the air fryer or oven for crispiness.
