- cooking spray
- ½ teaspoon kosher salt, divided
- ¼ cup honey
- ¼ cup lime juice
- 1 serrano chile, thinly sliced
- 2 teaspoons chopped fresh cilantro
Instructions For Air Fried Coconut Shrimp:
- Assemble the components. In a small bowl, mix the flour and pepper. Beat eggs lightly in a second shallow bowl. In a third shallow dish, mix the panko and coconut together.
- Dredge shrimp in flour mixture, shaking off excess, one at a time. Let the excess egg run out after dipping the floured shrimp in it. Lastly, push to adhere after dredging in the coconut mixture. Put prawns onto a platter. Use cooking spray to thoroughly coat the shrimp.
- Set the air fryer’s temperature to 400°F, or 200°C. Cook half of the shrimp in the air fryer for approximately three minutes. After flipping the shrimp, heat them for a further three minutes or until golden. Add 1/4 teaspoon of salt for seasoning. Continue with the remaining shrimp.
- In the meantime, in a small bowl, stir together the serrano chile, lime juice, and honey.
