Easy 3-Ingredient Chewy Fruit Jelly Candy Recipe
Ingredients:
Orange Jelly:
- 150 ml orange juice (from about 2 large oranges)
- 30 grams sugar
- 5 grams Agar-Agar powder (or 20 grams gelatin powder for non-vegetarian option)
Grape Jelly:
- 150 ml grape juice
- 30 grams sugar
- 5 grams Agar-Agar powder
Strawberry Jelly:
- 150 ml strawberry juice
- 45 grams sugar
- 5 grams Agar-Agar powder
Green Grape Jelly:
- 175 ml green grape juice
- 30 grams sugar
- 5 grams Agar-Agar powder
Instructions:
Prepare the Juices:
- Extract the juice from the respective fruits (orange, grape, strawberry, green grape). You can use a juicer or blend the fruits and strain the juice using a fine mesh sieve.
Making the Fruit Jellies:
For Each Flavor (Orange, Grape, Strawberry, Green Grape):
- In a saucepan, combine the fruit juice and sugar.
- Sprinkle Agar-Agar powder over the mixture and let it sit for a minute.
- Heat the mixture over medium heat, stirring continuously until the sugar and Agar-Agar powder dissolve completely. Bring it to a gentle boil.
Setting the Jellies:
- Pour each flavored mixture into separate molds or a shallow tray lined with parchment paper.
- Let the jelly mixture cool at room temperature for a while, then refrigerate for at least 2-3 hours or until set and firm.
