Description
These homemade Air Fryer Pizza Roll Ups are incredibly quick and easy to prepare, making them the perfect snack, party treat, or game day appetizer. Using just five simple ingredients—string cheese, pepperoni, pizza sauce, flour tortillas, and olive oil—you can whip these up in no time!
Ingredients
- 4 large flour tortillas, use 8 inch
- 4 tablespoons pizza sauce
- 20 slices pepperoni, or use turkey pepperoni
- 2 whole string cheese, mozzarella string cheese
- 1 teaspoon olive oil
Instructions
- To warm the tortillas, stack them on a microwave-safe plate and cover them with a damp paper towel. Microwave for 20 seconds until they are warmed through. Alternatively, you can use a tortilla warmer if available.
- Cut the string cheese in half.
- Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for 3-5 minutes.
- Place a tortilla on a flat surface and spread approximately one tablespoon of pizza sauce along the bottom edge—layer five pepperoni slices over the sauce, followed by the string cheese.
- Roll the tortilla tightly from one end to the other, enclosing the filling inside.
- If needed, use a bit of water or extra sauce to seal the edge of the tortilla. (optional)
- Place the assembled roll-ups in the air fryer basket, seam side down, making sure they are not touching each other. Cook for 5-6 minutes or until the roll-ups are crispy and golden brown.
- Once cooked, remove the roll-ups from the air fryer and let them cool for a minute. Slice them into smaller pieces if desired, and serve with additional pizza sauce for dipping.
Equipment
- Cooking Spray
- Parchment Paper, optional
