Easy Potato Pockets – No Oven, No Yeast

Dough:

  • 90ml (6 tablespoons) Milk
  • 1g (1/8 teaspoon) Salt
  • 150g (1 cup) 00 flour
  • 15ml (1 tablespoon) Unsalted butter

🥔 Fillings:

  • 2 potatoes (about 200 g)
  • 15g (2 tablespoons) Bacon crumbs
  • 6g (1 tablespoon) Chopped onion
  • 15ml (1 tablespoon) Mayonnaise
  • Mozzarella cheese

👩‍🍳 Instructions:

  1. Dough: Mix milk, salt, flour and butter until smooth. Refrigerate the dough for at least 30 minutes or even overnight.
  2. Fillings: Boil the potatoes, mash them and add bacon crumbs, onion, mayonnaise and grated mozzarella.
  3. Assembly: Roll out the dough and cut it into circles. Place the filling in the center of each circle. Close in a crescent shape, sealing the edges.
  4. Cooking: Heat a pan over medium-low heat, cook the potato packets for about 3-5 minutes on each side.
📝 Tips:
  1. If you don’t have bacon, you can omit it.
  2. There is no need to knead the dough, its consistency is optimal without kneading. You can keep it in the fridge for a whole day.
