Extremely Moist and Soft Caramel Pie
Ingredients:
For the Cake:
2 cups all-purpose flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter, softened
1 cup granulated sugar
1 cup brown sugar, packed
4 large eggs
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1 cup milk
For the Caramel Sauce:
1 cup granulated sugar
1/4 cup water
1/2 cup heavy cream
1/4 cup unsalted butter
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions:
For the Cake:
Preheat the Oven:
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
Grease and flour a 9-inch round cake pan or a 9×9 inch square baking pan.
Prepare the Dry Ingredients:
In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.
Set aside.
Cream the Butter and Sugars:
