FLUFFY BRIOCHE AND TURKISH BREAD
INGREDIENTS:
310g (2 ½ cups) 00 flour;
30g (3 tbsp) sugar;
3g (1 tsp) salt;
4g (1 tbsp) dry yeast;
1 egg;
170ml (⅔ cup) warm milk;
20g (1 12 tbsp) butter;
50g (3 tbsp) cream cheese
METHOD:
Whisk flour with salt and yeast. make a well in the center add sugar, milk and egg, whisk.
Add cream cheese and knead the dough. Work softened butter in.
Cover the dough and set aside for 1 hour.
Cut into 8 portions, roll each into a ball, then set aside for 20 minutes.
Press out excess air and roll again. Place into a round baking pan, set aside for 1 hour.
Dust with flour and bake at 150C/300F for 20 minutes.
