Ingredients:

  1. 1 lb thinly sliced beef steak
  2. ½ cup Worcestershire Sauce
  3. 1/2 cup soy sauce.
  4. 1 tablespoon honey.
  5. 1 teaspoon onion powder.
  6. ½ tsp chile flakes, optional; add more for spicy jerky.

Instructions

  • Combine all of the marinade ingredients in a bowl.
  • Cut the meat pieces into strips or squares.
  • Add the beef strips to the marinade, making sure that the marinade covers all sides of the beef.
  • Cover the bowl and refrigerate overnight or for at least three hours.
  • . Remove the steak from the marinade and blot it dry with paper towels.
  • Place the beef strips in the air fryer basket in a single layer, making sure they do not overlap.
  • Air fried the meat strips until totally desiccated. Set the air fry to 210°F (100°C) for two hours, then inspect the jerky. If it hasn’t entirely dried out, continue to air fry for 15-20 minutes until it’s done. It should achieve 160°F/71°C
  • Allow the jerky to cool and then store it in an airtight container.
