French toast with Big Macs

Components:

  1. Two thick bread slices (brioche or Texas toast work great)
    One egg
  2. 1/4 cup of milk
  3. One tablespoon of mayonnaise
  4. One teaspoon of mustard
  5. One teaspoon of ketchup
  6. One piece of cheddar cheese
  7. One piece of American cheese
  8. Two slices of pickles
  9. To taste, add salt and pepper.
  10. Cooking with butter

Directions:

  • To make the egg mixture, whisk the egg, milk, salt, and pepper in a small basin.
  • Prepare the Sauce: Combine the ketchup, mustard, and mayonnaise in a separate bowl. Put aside.
  • Dip the Bread: Put butter in a pan over medium heat. Make sure to coat both sides of each bread slice by dipping it into the egg mixture.
  • Cook the Bread: Put the bread in the skillet and cook it for two to three minutes on each side, or until golden brown on both sides.
  • Assemble: Spread the sauce on one piece of French toast, then top with the pickles, cheddar cheese, and the second piece of toast. Drizzle additional sauce over the American cheese.
  • Melt the Cheese: To aid in the melting of the cheese, cover the skillet for a minute or two.
  • To serve, cut in half and warm.
