Full Airfryer Chicken Thighs Recipe:
Ingredients:
- – 4 whole chicken thighs (skin on and bone in)
- – 2 tablespoons olive oil
- – 1 teaspoon paprika
- – 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- – 1 teaspoon onion powder
- – 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- – Salt and pepper to taste
- – Juice of 1 lemon (optional)
Instructions:
1. **Dry the chicken**: Pat the chicken thighs dry with kitchen paper to remove excess moisture. This will help the skin get crispier when cooked.
2. **Marinate the chicken**: In a small bowl, mix together the olive oil, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, oregano, salt and pepper. If you prefer a citrusy touch, add the lemon juice. Rub the thighs well with this mixture, making sure to completely cover them.
3. **Preheat the Airfryer**: Preheat the Airfryer to 180°C (350°F) for 5 minutes.
4. **Cook the thighs**: Place the chicken thighs in the Airfryer basket with the skin facing up. Leave space between the thighs so that the air can circulate well.
5. **Cooking time**: Cook at 180°C (350°F) for 25-30 minutes or until the skin is crispy and golden and the chicken has reached an internal temperature of 75°C (165°F). For crispier skin, you can increase the temperature to 200°C (390°F) for the last 5 minutes.
6. **Rest and serve**: Remove the thighs from the Airfryer and let them rest for 5 minutes before serving so that the juices can distribute well.
