Garlic Butter Baked Scallops
Ingredients:
1 lb large scallops, patted dry
4 tbsp butter, melted
3 cloves garlic, minced
1/4 cup breadcrumbs
1/4 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
1 tbsp lemon juice
Salt and pepper to taste
Lemon wedges (for serving)
Directions:
Warm up the oven: Set the oven temperature to 400°F, or 200°C.
Get the Garlic Butter ready: Combine the lemon juice, salt, pepper, minced garlic, and melted butter in a small bowl.
Put the Scallops Together: In a baking dish, arrange the scallops in a single layer. Cover the scallops with the garlic butter mixture, making sure to coat them well.
Put the topping on: Combine the breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, and parsley in a separate small bowl. Evenly distribute this mixture on top of the scallops.
Bake: The breadcrumb covering should be golden brown and the scallops opaque after 10 to 12 minutes of baking in a preheated oven.
Serve: Serve the baked scallops hot, accompanied by wedges of lemon.
