Garlic Chicken Fried Rice Made Easy

Components:

  1. Two cups of cooked rice, ideally the day before
  2. One diced chicken breast
  3. Four minced garlic cloves
  4. Two beaten eggs
  5. Two tsp soy sauce
  6. Two tablespoons of vegetable oil
  7. To taste, add salt and pepper.

Directions:

Prepare the chicken:

  • In a pan, heat 1 tablespoon of oil. Cook until browned and cooked through after adding the diced chicken and seasoning with salt and pepper. Take out and put aside.

Sauté the garlic:

  • Add the last tablespoon of oil to the same pan. Sauté the minced garlic for approximately one minute, or until aromatic.

Eggs in a scramble:

  • Pour in the beaten eggs after pushing the garlic aside. Cook by scrambling until done.

Include the rice:

  • Break up any clumps in the cooked rice before adding it to the pan. Add the chicken and stir.

The season

  • Stir-fry everything for a few minutes after adding the soy sauce. Taste and adjust the salt and pepper.
