Introduction

This simple 3-ingredient natural remedy is popular for cleansing the body, reducing bloating, supporting digestion, and boosting immunity. Garlic provides powerful antioxidants, lime helps detoxify and alkalize, while chayote is rich in fiber and hydration.

Ingredients

2 medium chayote (green squash / chow chow)

3–4 garlic cloves

3 fresh limes

2 cups water (cold or room temperature)

1–2 teaspoons honey (optional, for taste)

Instructions

Prepare the Chayote

Wash thoroughly.

Peel and remove the seed inside.

Cut into small cubes for easy blending.

Prepare the Garlic

Peel 3–4 cloves.

Cut in half so the flavor blends evenly.

Prepare the Lime

Wash and cut in half.

Squeeze out all the juice.

Remove seeds.

Blend the Drink

Add into a blender:

Chayote pieces

Garlic

Lime juice

2 cups water

Blend until completely smooth.

Strain (optional)

You may strain if you prefer a smooth drink, or leave it unstrained for more fiber.

Sweeten

Add 1–2 teaspoons honey if you want a better taste.

Serve

Pour into a glass and drink immediately for maximum freshness.

How to Take It

1 cup in the morning on an empty stomach

or ½ cup in the morning and ½ cup at night

Drink for 7 days, then take a 3-day break if you want to continue.
