Ginger Lemon and Green Tea Chews Immune Boosting Food

2 bags (or 2 tsp) green tea leaves
1 tbsp grated fresh ginger
2 tbsp fresh lemon juice

3 tbsp honey or maple syrup (adjust to taste)
½ cup water
3 tbsp gelatin powder (or agar agar for vegan option)
A pinch of black pepper (optional, boosts absorption)
Preparation Instructions:
Step 1: Brew the Base:
Boil ½ cup water, remove from heat.
Add green tea leaves/bags and let steep for 5–7 minutes.
Strain the tea into a small saucepan.
Step 2: Mix the Actives:
Add grated ginger, lemon juice, lemon zest, honey, and black pepper to the green tea.
Heat gently (do not boil) and stir for 2–3 minutes.
Step 3: Add Thickener:
Sprinkle gelatin powder evenly over the warm mixture and whisk continuously to avoid lumps.
If using agar agar, dissolve in a bit of water separately and simmer for 2 minutes before adding.
Keep stirring over low heat until the gelatin is fully dissolved and mixture is slightly thickened.
Step 4: Mold & Chill:
Pour mixture into silicone molds, an ice tray, or a parchment-lined tray.
Let cool at room temperature for 10 minutes.
Place in the refrigerator for 2–3 hours or until fully set.
