Instructions

Prepare the Beef Filling

Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.

Add onion and sauté for 3 minutes until softened.

Stir in garlic and cook for 30 seconds until fragrant.

Add ground beef, breaking it apart with a wooden spoon. Cook until browned (about 5-6 minutes).

Mix in paprika, thyme, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper. Cook for another 2 minutes.

Remove from heat and let it cool slightly. Stir in cheddar cheese.

Assemble the Rolls

Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Roll out the puff pastry sheet on a lightly floured surface into a 10×12-inch rectangle.

Cut the pastry into 6 equal strips (about 2 inches wide each).

Spoon 2-3 tbsp of beef filling onto one end of each strip.

Fold the pastry over the filling, then roll it up into a tight spiral. Press the edges to seal.

Place rolls seam-side down on the baking sheet.

Bake to Golden Perfection

Beat the egg and brush it over the pastry rolls.

Sprinkle with sesame seeds (if using).

Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown and puffed.

 Serve & Enjoy!

Let the rolls cool for 5 minutes before serving.
