- 1 pound ground beef
- 4 slices thick-sliced bread
- ½ onion, thinly sliced
- 2 slices American cheese
- 4 slices bacon, cooked
- 4 large eggs, beaten
- ½ cup heavy cream
- ½ cup milk
- ½ tsp garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Optional: Big Mac sauce
Instructions
Step 1: Prepare the Beef Patties
- Form the ground beef into two equal-sized patties.
- Sauté the patties in a skillet to your desired level of doneness.
Step 2: Cook the Bacon
- Cook the bacon until crispy and set aside.
- In a bowl, whisk together the eggs, heavy cream, milk, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
Step 3: Make the French Toast
- Dip the bread slices into the egg mixture, ensuring they are well-coated.
- Cook the bread slices in a skillet until they are crispy and golden on both sides.
- If desired, spread Big Mac sauce on the inside of the cooked bread slices.
Step 4: Assemble the Burgers
- Place one cooked beef patty on each of two slices of French toast.
- Top each patty with a slice of American cheese, bacon, and sautéed onions.
Step 5: Complete and Serve
- Place another slice of French toast on top of each assembly to form a sandwich.
- Optionally, you can deep fry the assembled sandwiches for an extra crunchy surface.
- Serve immediately and enjoy!
