No Added Sugar • Naturally Sweet • Ready in 10 Minutes

📝 Ingredients (About 1 cup)

  • 2 cups fresh or frozen blueberries

  • 2 tbsp chia seeds

  • 1–2 tbsp lemon juice (freshly squeezed)

  • 1–2 tsp honey or maple syrup (optional — only if needed)

  • ½ tsp vanilla extract (optional)

👩‍🍳 Instructions

1️⃣ Cook the Blueberries

Add blueberries to a small saucepan over medium heat.

Cook for 5–7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until berries break down and release juices.

Use the back of a spoon to mash them to your desired consistency.

2️⃣ Add Lemon & Chia

Stir in:

  • Lemon juice

  • Chia seeds

Reduce heat to low and cook for 1–2 more minutes.

Remove from heat.

3️⃣ Thicken

Let mixture sit for 10–15 minutes.
Chia seeds will absorb liquid and naturally thicken the jam.

If too thin → add 1 more tsp chia seeds.
If too thick → stir in 1 tbsp warm water.

4️⃣ Cool & Store

Transfer to a jar and refrigerate for at least 1 hour to fully set.

🧊 Storage

  • Keeps refrigerated up to 7 days

  • Not shelf-stable (no canning)
