- One-half teaspoon of baking soda
- One teaspoon of salt
- Two huge eggs
- One cup of whole milk
- Half a cup of vegetable oil
- Vanilla extract, two teaspoons
- One cup of water that is boiling
Regarding the Frosting:
- One cup of softened unsalted butter
- Half a cup of powdered sugar
- ½ cup of cocoa powder without sugar
- Half a teaspoon of salt
- One teaspoon of vanilla cream
- If you want a lighter frosting, use milk instead of ½ cup heavy cream.
Optional garnish:
- Sprinkles or flakes of chocolate
- Berries that are fresh
Directions
1. Get the cake ready:
- Set the oven temperature to 175°C (350°F). Grease two 9-inch round cake pans and dust them with flour.
- Mix the flour, sugar, baking soda, baking powder, cocoa powder, and salt in a big bowl.
- Pour in the oil, milk, eggs, and vanilla. For two minutes, beat on medium speed.
- The batter will be thin, so stir in the boiling water. Evenly pour into the pans that have been prepared.
- A toothpick inserted in the center should come out clean after baking for 30 to 35 minutes. After 10 minutes of cooling in the pans, move the cakes to wire racks to finish cooling.
2. Prepare the frosting:
- Beat the softened butter until it becomes creamy in a large bowl. Add the chocolate powder and powdered sugar gradually while mixing on low speed.
- Add heavy cream, vanilla, and salt. Beat until the frosting is creamy and fluffy, about 3 minutes on high speed.
3. Put the Cake Together:
- On a serving plate, arrange one layer of cake. Cover with a coat of icing.
- Frost the cake’s sides and top after adding the second layer.
- If desired, garnish with fresh berries or chocolate shavings.
4. Offer:
- Enjoy your Chocolate Heaven Cake after slicing it!
